“They were animals. Brad had only wanted to put all that mess behind him, to start over and to avoid some of the mistakes. “Never had any interest.”
“Me neither.”
“Really?” That provoked a skeptical look from Cindy. “Not all the way in?”
“You can if you want to.”
“Okay, let me try. Brad was getting really intrigued now. “They were pretty grossed out.”
“If we’re not back Cindy can give you directions.”
“What do you think of Igor?” Brad asked as the two left hand in hand. “So tell me, what’s your advice about a game plan?”
“How important is this guy?” Jane asked. Everything was getting very dry. The kids came up on the dock, looking for lunch, and that was the end of that conversation. “I think that’s an urban legend in all companies.”
