I was convinced she was going to meet me at the door with the biggest smile and hug. I slowly opened the room door and scanned the room, she wasn’t in the bed, so I went to the bathroom. I was in complete shock. I opened the door and was welcomed with an eerie silence. I noticed her car was back in place and the note was no longer on the windshield.
